I am smiling from ear 2 ear!

Wednesday

This week just keeps on getting better & better......

Firstly (& I can't quite believe it) our very own Belle & Boo website went live. OOoohhhhh its hard work creating a website, there have been LOTS of ups and downs along the way, but we now LOVE the way it looks and most importantly it WORKS!!!
I squealed when I first saw the animation & jumped around the studio shouting "she's alive, she's alive" please click here www.belleandboo.com for a leisurely mooch around.

Kate and I have spent months of market research, collected customer feedback (Thank you to everyone that participated) and had a long hard think at where we want to be in the market place. We have had some fantastic success in America and Australia thanks to Etsy and Frankie Magazine and we really hope now to introduce Belle & Boo to its birth place in the UK in the coming months.

As you will see on our Belle & Boo website (he he, Soooooo exciting!!) & in our Etsy shop we have changed the way we offer the prints. They are now presented in a lovely soft white mount (with backing board) or in a beautiful bespoke white wooden frame. This is something I have wanted to do since starting my first Etsy shop millymollymandy way back in 2006. I have always struggled with the fact that frustratingly paper sizes are NOT universal & the solution of offering them in universal sized mounts was SO appealing. Now (hopefully) any customer, any where in the world can pop their mounted print quickly & easily into their choice of frame.

Or of course we can now frame it for you.

I have spent along time creating new packaging solutions - belly wraps, certificates of authenticity, custom made postal boxes that are SO unbelievably strong & secure (Kate and I had lots of fun daring each other to throw them further and higher around the studio, which developed into a game of football with Russ !) & you'll be pleased to know, no frames were harmed during the process, not even a little bit!

Now for the second piece of wonderful news this week.
We had a phone call from the council saying our garden studio has been approved & our neighbor has withdrawn their complaint. OOOOOooooooohhhhhhhh my goodness you do not know how many sleepless nights I have had, stressing about the whole situation.
I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders, I feel positively floaty!
Here are some photos of my, now... sanctuary.

I haven't really spent time decorating inside, because it didn't feel permanent, but you just wait, I am going to cover my walls with art. If you peek you can see prints by 2 of my favourite artists yumiyumi and eveline tarunadjaja

oh & guess what its sunny, have a great weekend everyone, I am grinning from ear to ear.
