Creative Clare!

Do you remember a little while ago I advertised for a part time junior designer? Well I was stunned by how may applicants I had just via the blog advert, friends told friends and I was approached from people all around the world. I met/interviewed 5 lovely people that were localish & offered the job to an Australian. "WHAT?" I hear you exclaim "but you said it had to be someone that lived near by?" well luckily for me she does, just down the road in Crouch End. Meet Clare


Ok she is a little older than this now but just as cute & still into her cakes!
It has been brilliant working with her, at first I thought it might be really hard to trust someone with my illustrations and my vision, but within just a few weeks, I could see she has got it, she understands Belle & Boo.

This year at Top Drawer for the fist time ever we had proper promotional material a very cool leaflet about our new clothing range (available shortly) that folds up into a old fashioned book and in it.....a lovely little book mark promoting Bubbles Before Bed.



We also now have a downloadable catalogue for our whole sale customers, which makes life much easier and a very fancy style guide all about Belle & Boo!

Aside from all this she also managed to get Belle & Boo their first exhibition in a GORGEOUS cafe in Crouch End called The Haberdashery. Friends kept telling me about this new cafe and how I should go, "it's so Belle & Boo" etc, so when Clare arrived at the studio one morning and said the owner might be interested in us having the Christmas slot, we rushed down there & said "yes please". So for those of you that can make it the opening night is Friday 26th November and the exhibition runs for the month of December. Even if you can't make it then I recommend the cafe 100% the coffee & cakes are yum!
