I had a very Belle & Boo
'Yummy Scrummy Day' inspired weekend. I was house sitting in Essex for the weekend on a property with a massive field and a beautiful little woodland. Whilst exploring around we found many apple trees and even more blackberry bushes.
I feel like I picked enough blackberries to last me a life time, and I've got enough thorn scratches and nettle stings to prove it. So with my loot, I didn't make stuffed apples like Belle made for Boo, but I made an apple and blackberry pie, apple and blackberry jam, blackberry chutney and blackberry infused gin. My kitchen was very overtaken by blackberries!
